Superior Pursuits is a first class charter fishing service out of Duluth, MN. We offer full-service charter fishing on Lake Superior which includes a comfortable 31 foot Tiara Yacht fully equipped with top of the line fishing equipment, safety equipment, seats for comfort, marine toilet, and free fish cleaning when we return from our trip.
Fishing on Lake Superior offers Lake Trout, Coho Salmon, King Salmon, Walleye, and occasional Brown Trout. Fishing with Superior Pursuits we have three priorities while out fishing: safety, fun, and fish (in that order). We believe that every trip needs to be safe first and foremost.
Charter fishing out of the Duluth port has several time options to meet your needs. Half Day, 3/4 Day, and Full Day trips are available.
Half Day Fishing Charter (4 hours dock to dock)
$600.00 for 1-4 people
$650.00 for 5 people
$700.00 for 6 people
This charter offers less time on the water but there is still ample opportunity to land some quality fish. Half days can be action-packed with most of our fishing done 3-5 miles from shore. The only time half days are a bit tough is during the trasition period (end of June-early July). Target species during half days include but aren’t limited to lake trout, salmon, walleye, brown trout, steelhead, and more.* If fish are further from shore than normal the captain may suggest adding an hour to your trip to accommodate travel time to the fish (extra $100 per hour).
3/4 day Fishing Charter (6 hours dock to dock)

A healthy medium for groups that want to spend a little extra time on the water. 3/4 day charters allow us to travel a bit further and put in extra time while targeting a variety of species. With this amount of time we can target a variety of species catered to their seasonal migrations, daily conditions, and your preference.

Maximize the captain’s ability to locate where the fish are biting, and allow you to catch the best bite. Oftentimes different species are active at different times of the day. It is not uncommon to successfully target salmon in the morning, and lake trout midday. We are flexible while targeting a variety of species to accommodate seasonal migrations, daily conditions, and your preference.

All charter trips require a $200 credit card hold, which will be charged to the client in the event of client cancellation. The deposit is nonrefundable for a trip that is canceled by the client, but is transferable to another date if there is a 14 day advance notice from the client. Deposit wont be charged in the event of bad weather cancellation by the captain. Total trip costs will be due the day of reservation. Cash or Credit Card are accepted. A 3% convenience fee will be added to all credit card sales.
